!update in progress!
The title module resides above the media-player module and provides information about the following:
Menu Tabs (Linked assets) - Above the title field, is a Tab that normally lists the active asset that is loaded into the player. In the below example, the active asset is shown by its orange Tab. Since there are other Tabs listed, they indicate that this asset is linked with several other assets. This could be the first & second half of a soccer game, commentator clips, etc. The "more" Tab will list the other linked assets. This applies to the Library application.
Menu Tabs (Revisions)
Using the Review and Approval application, the Tabs contains the original asset and all the other Revisions if they exist.
Action menu - Just below the Tabs, you have access to the action menu that allows you to share or distribute your assets via Quicklink or destination M-boxes.
Title / Subtitle - The title fields are configurable from admin and you may choose the metadata fields that you find appropriate. If you have administrative rights, you may also change the names from properties Tab
Previous / Next - Load the next or previous linked assets into the player. If asset is not linked, it will load assets from the asset list.
When you are in the Library application using the Event workspaces, the menu tabs in top of the Title module often represent the first & second half of an event as displayed. Mediabank can recognize these assets from the metadata information, normally the match id and automatically link them. However, when you are in other workspaces they can represent other connections. If you manually group a number of assets, Mediabank will automatically provide that information to you in terms of these menu tabs.
When located in the Review & Approval application, the menu tabs represent revisions. Once an asset is rejected and a new version is uploaded, Mediabank will identify these different assets as revisions in the menu tabs. This is a very powerful feature and enables you to review the annotations or compare the two version in the player module.
By pressing the menu tab Rev+, you are asked to upload a new revision.
Quicklink (send to others)
Send quicklink - will immediately open the send quicklink dialog and attach the asset proxy url ready for you to add destination details.
Add to quicklink- will put the asset proxy url into the share folder ready for you to send. You have now the option to send the quicklink or load another asset and add this one too. You can now send multiple assets in one quicklink.
Are predefined and pre configured destinations that provides additional tasks than just sending the media file. M-boxes can log in to secure areas, convert your asset to different formats and so forth. A typical destination could be Youtube, or maybe an ftp server.
Download (to you)
If you are granted by your administrator you can download the original asset, a smaller version (proxy), or just the poster image.
If you are granted admin rights, you can also delete the loaded asset. You are given the option to delete the original media file along with its proxy, metadata and annotations or simply delete the original and keep the proxy as a reference.
