UEFA Introduction
Introduction
Mediabank AdEx provides the easiest and most reliable asset transfer in the market.
You will be guided through the process with predefined templates/forms to secure that the mandatory information provided is correctly.
Start your AdEx application from your Dashboard. No login is required.
The above screen image shows the AdEx opening screen. You can choose between two options, Aspera upload and standard upload.
Upload with Aspera
This plugin secures your asset to be 100% error free upon delivery and it also use advanced compression techniques to speed up the transfer.
By choosing this method, the AdEx application will check if the plugin is loaded and active. If ok, you will see the below message in top of your screen.
If not present, you will be guided to the Aspera support site to download it.
Note!
We recommend the use of Aspera to avoid corrupted media files during upload. Even interrupted transmission caused by poor or unstable internet access will automatically restart to secure the arrival of your media content.
Standard upload
By choosing this method you simply use your standard browser file transfer functions.
If you always prefer either Aspera or standard option, you can click in the box to the left of "Save choice now and skip later" in which means that it will remember your credentials and skip straight to next screen as shown below when you log in next time. If you regret your choice of transfer, you can get back to the opening screen by pressing: < Change upload method
Select Destination
Select “Upload to my account. A window will appear revealing your local files on your own desktop or server. Select your media file(s) and press Ok.
The media file(s) will appear in the “File” frame as shown below. You can choose to add additional media files for upload by pressing the “+ Add more files” button. By pressing “X” to the left of the file name, you remove it from the upload selection (It is not even placed in a queue at this stage). No media file is deleted.

As an alternative, you may find your match Id from the UEFA web site.
Tag
Click Tag to open the UEFA metadata (match) template. It will be similar the below template. Fill in your information and press Done when finished.
When uploading multiple files
When uploading multiple files, Mediabank will add an option to help you save time. This option enables you to "copy" the template content to the additional selected files.
Note!
Did you notice the “apply to all files” entry to the left of the “DONE” button in the TAG template? If you have multiple assets for upload like the above example, Mediabank assumes that many of the entries placed in the template related to the first asset share identical content with the following assets. Marking this, will copy the content of the first asset to all the following asset templates. Then you just check the other assets templates and correct the inputs that are unique. This saves a lot of time when templates are very detailed and contains many entries.
After you pressed Done, you are automatically returned to the Check out menu. Observe that your Tag frame template must be filled in correctly to proceed.
Start uploading your content
Press the CHECKOUT button. You will be presented a summary of your transfer. Press OK to start.
