The Library Application
The library is a web application that provides access to your valuable content through a low-resolution copy (proxy) always online.
The Mediabank Library application offers safe and reliable storage for your assets. It holds your original hi-resolution media content safe and surveyed on secure disks.
Note!
The articles refer to "Asset" or "Media file." It is the same "Media content," but the industry we are in use them both, so they are both present in the Mediabank articles. However, Media content can also be "clips." Clips are short captures from your media content focusing on specific highlights or events from any match, game, or similar.

You can preview your media files (your media content) with the integrated Media-player and retrieve detailed metadata (information) about your material. The user can add tags (metadata) and comments anytime. You can even share your media content easily. Just drop your assets or clips into one or more "Destination containers" (M-boxes) to execute predefined workflows, e.g., send to an editing suite, YouTube account, your partners/customers FTP-server, etc. The clips are transcoded and converted to the correct format before distribution.
With the QuickLink feature, you can fast and easily share your media, or parts of it, through an open link for a certain period. It can even be published to recipients that are not part of your Mediabank community.
Be aware that only the three first workspaces are available for Basic price plan customers. Customers in the advanced (Professional and Enterprise) price plans may also use Workspaces 4-7.
