The navigation module enables the user to manually navigate within the media file to quickly locate the area of interest. It enables the user to skim through the media content manually at their own pace or step through the media content frame-by-frame. These features are used when making clips, creating tag lists, or working in Review & Approval.

- Enter the timecode and press GO to navigate to a specific location in the media file. The format is hh:mm:ss:ff. Entering 19:12 or 1912 and pressing GO will position the mediaplayer to start at 19 sec and frame 12 into the media file. (calculated from the mediafiles beginning)
- The start/stop button causes the mediaplayer to start or stop playing the mediafile. Clicking on the numbers to the left or right of the start/stop button causes the mediaplayer to jump back or forth within a 1 to 30 seconds time span.
- Reflects the mediaplayers exact position in LTC format.
- (Mediaplayer) It is possible to use the media player's navigation bar as well. To quickly move within the media file, move the mouse to the navigation bar, click the left mouse button and hold it down while moving the mouse to the left or right.
- (Mediaplayer) It is also possible to navigate within the mediafiles from the user's worklist/asset list. Click the previous/next buttons to load a new asset into the mediaplayer.

Navigation module used the in Library Workspace 4 & 5 (Event view)

- Making a clip #1: Position the mediaplayer to the beginning of the desired clip and press IN. Move to the end of the clip and press OUT. (The clip entry IN and OUT values are now defined)
- Making a clip #2: The MARK function will perform the same task as the manual routine described above but automatically create IN and OUT timestamps based on predefined values. These values are user-configurable. Hover over the MARK button and click the right mouse button to adjust the settings.
How to create a clip: Position the mediaplayer to a specific event's exact location (A goal or similar). Press MARK. Assuming the setting is -10 & +20 seconds, the IN mark will be 10 seconds before the mediaplayers position and the OUT mark 20 seconds after the mediaplayers position.
Enter the clip description in the text frame below the MARK button. - Create Subclip makes a new asset clip from the high-quality Live feed.
- Download clip enables users to store their clip on the local machine/storage.
- Cliplist enables the user to add the created clip list entries to predefined cliplists.
- The user can send the clips to a specific destination from a predefined M-box.
- Destination settings. Activate, Deactivate or configure features.
- When a log entry is created and named (Smiling face), pressing Execute will trigger 6,7,8, and/or 9 to send the clips to their destinations.

The Destination settings
The user can perform multiple tasks in one process by activating the features below.
First, select the setup icon to the left of the "Create sub clip button" to enable the various features. Then activate or deactivate the features by clicking the eye symbols from the Destination setting menu. The Cliplist and M-box features need an additional destination as well. Select the destinations from the drop-down menus
In the below example:
- The Create Subclip is selected but still grey because it needs an active live feed to function. Visualized by an entire grayed out feature
- The Download clip is not selected and disabled. Visualized by a "Disabled" text and grayed out.
- The CLiplist is selected, and it is active. It is activated by clicking the orange button. To deactivate, click the orange button again.
- The M-box is selected and ready but not activated.
When the clip is created and named, the final step is to press the Execute button. In the below example, Only the Cliplist will receive the clip entry. By activating additional features, the user can perform multiple tasks in one operation.
Note!
CREATE SUB CLIP, and DOWNLOAD CLIP requires a Live feed and can not be activated by
selecting an asset.
