How to create a clip list
Mediabank is a great tool to do your rough-cuts. Using clip lists, i.e. only downloading certain parts of asset(s), will decrease the number of minutes being downloaded and therefore lower the download cost and time.
Step 1: Open the asset in Event View (W4) or Event View wide (W5).
Step 2: Click on the ‘Cliplist’ tab.
Step 3: Click on ‘+New/Open’.
Step 4: Give your cliplist a name and description. Choose whether the cliplist should be visible only to you, visible for a chosen user group, public for anyone in the account to see.
Step 5: When you’re done, click ‘Create list’.
Step 6: To create a clip, create an IN and an OUT point on the asset(s). You can do this by either clicking the ‘Mark In’ and ‘Mark Out’ buttons (see circle 1 & 2), or you can use the ‘i’ and ‘o’ on your keyboard.
Step 7: Give the clip a name/description.
Step 8: Chose which clip list you want to add the clip into by clicking the wheel/gear-icon.
The clip will pop up in the overview on the right side.
You can add as many clips as you want to your clip lists.
